Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift production team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality food products while meeting production, quality, food safety, and labor objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production schedules are met.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop production employees.
- Schedule and assign work to ensure efficient production flow.
- Monitor productivity, quality, labor, and equipment performance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF/BRC, USDA/FDA, OSHA, and company policies.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve production issues.
- Oversee startups, changeovers, sanitation, and production documentation.
- Monitor inventory, product yields, and waste reduction.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a safe workplace and enforce all safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
Preferred
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with USDA/FDA regulated manufacturing.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and manufacturing environments.

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
