Job Summary

As a Meat Clerk, you will be responsible for giving the best customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires strong customer interaction skills, including upselling and cash handling, in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the carving station and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the quality of products served.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service while promoting additional menu items through upselling techniques.
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of meat products and reporting shortages.

- Demonstrate effective time management skills to keep up with customer demand during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques related to Food Preperation.
