American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with at least 6 months of home health experience, MOAB certification, and an active NM or compact RN license.

Home health setting affiliated with a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital (acute care, 554 staffed beds)

Patient caseload ratio of 1:5

Service territory within a 35-mile radius

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

No weekend requirements
-
No on-call requirements
-
No floating required
-
Charting is performed in Cerner
-
Parking is provided at no cost
-
Black scrubs required
-
Active NM or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)

Current certifications required: BLS and MOAB (if MOAB is not currently held, a 4-hour de-escalation course will be provided during the first week; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation)

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of home health experience required

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

A second set of fingerprints for CYFD purposes is required upon arrival, as patient homes may include children

COVID vaccination is optional; however, documentation of vaccination series or a signed declination is required for compliance reporting

RTO requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval

Mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard mileage rate

Travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark must take a 6-month break before returning

New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks in length
