The SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) Program Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the SNAP E&T Program, GAP Assistance Program, and other assistance programs at Southeast Community College. Reporting to the Dean of Continuing Education, this position is responsible for ensuring program effectiveness, regulatory compliance, fiscal stewardship, and participant success across all program activities.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing program strategies that align with state and federal SNAP E&T requirements, managing program budgets and funding allocations, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with all applicable guidelines. The Manager collaborates with internal departments and external partners to expand access to education and training opportunities, supports participant recruitment and retention efforts, and oversees service delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes.
The SNAP E&T Program Manager plays a critical role in advancing economic self-sufficiency for participants by connecting them to education, skills training, industry-recognized credentials, and employment opportunities aligned with Nebraska’s workforce priorities. This position also contributes to the development of career pathways, strengthens partnerships with employers and community organizations, and supports continuous program improvement through data analysis and performance evaluation. This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position, funded through March 2027.
