American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down/PCU position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years PCU experience and Epic proficiency.

Step-Down/PCU unit within a 332-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Familiarity with cardiac drips required
-
Charting is performed in Epic (proficiency level 3 or 4 required)

Floating is required to sister facilities within approximately 20 miles (Martin North, South, and Tradition campuses)

Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate

Active FL or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required; ICU experience also required

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration

NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start

Epic proficiency at a level 3 or 4 required

Two professional references required for consideration

This is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required; no exceptions

Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon assignment confirmation

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
