Douglas County is accepting applications for an Engineering Inspections Supervisor within the Public Works department. This position supervises a team of technicians responsible for construction administration, project inspection, and materials testing. This position works with a team of engineers and technicians in the Public Works Engineering Division, in support of road and bridge operations and improvements.
Successful candidates will have a valid driver’s license, current KDOT CIT inspector certifications (AGF, API, BI, CF, CPI, DSI, NUC, PDI, PM, PO, SOF, STR, and TCI), pass a background check, and will also demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with diverse co-workers, community members, and customers.
