Overview
Seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper / Laundry Manager to oversee housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and common areas are consistently clean, organized, and well maintained. This position will also oversee all motel laundry and linens while helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation
- Coordinate cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Oversee laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain adequate supplies of linens, cleaning products, and housekeeping materials
- Train and assist housekeeping staff as needed
- Ensure housekeeping standards are consistently maintained
- Report maintenance issues or room concerns to management
- Help ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests
Experience
- Previous motel, hotel, or professional housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience supervising or leading a housekeeping team is a plus
- Strong laundry and linen-handling experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Hospitality experience preferred
- References may be required
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
