About the Role:
GrandCHB INC. is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Customs Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team in Alhambra, CA. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and international trade laws
- Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and manage import/export documentation
- Conduct internal trade compliance audits and identify areas for process improvement
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate clearance
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly
- Prepare and review entry filings, commercial invoices, and other trade documents for accuracy
- Support denied party screening and export control compliance activities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in customs compliance, trade operations, or a related field
- Working knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, and import/export procedures
- Experience with trade compliance software and customs entry systems preferred
- Licensed Customs Broker designation is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
