Envelope Printing Press Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Toledo, Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Mon-Fri
About the Role
Envelope Mart is growing and looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined team member to operate a printing press
If you enjoy hands-on work, learning machinery, and being part of a production environment, this could be a great opportunity. Prior press experience is helpful, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machinery for each job run
- Inspect printed materials for accuracy, color consistency, and quality
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on press equipment
- Monitor ink levels, materials, and machine performance throughout production
- Document production data and report any issues or deviations
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Work efficiently to maintain production pace while meeting quality and safety standards
- Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating digital or industrial printing equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and quality standards
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting materials as needed (up to 50 lbs.)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime when required
