We are growing! A thriving community mental health clinic is seeking an outgoing, energetic case manager who specializes in working with the Forensic/Criminal Justice population in an outpatient setting. Our Outpatient Restoration Program needs another case manager on the Team who is passionate about helping people that have been deemed incompetent by the Court.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties will include providing Outpatient Restoration Services (Education and Case management) with clients that have been deemed incompetent by the Court. This will include maintaining a caseload of ORP clients, assessing their needs, providing individual education sessions about the Judicial System, facilitating groups and documenting session and monthly progress.
Responsibilities may also include assisting clients based on their needs (this may include intake paperwork, applications for insurance, resumes, treatment homework, direct client support and other services), navigating community resources and participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Some ORP Sessions are conducted off-site (mileage is paid)
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in sociology/criminal justice, social work, psychology, or closely related field.
Experience in case management and/or community systems navigation with individuals with co-occurring disorders (preferred but not required).
Comfortable with the mentally ill and criminal justice population.
Requires exceptional flexibility, time management, and documentation skills.
Must be a self-starter and self-motivator.
Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license and have access to reliable transportation during work hours.
Desire to make a difference in the lives of people that truly need a reliable advocate.
Schedule:
- Position One (1): Monday- Thursday 8:00am-7:00pm (Fri, Sat, Sun. Off)
- Position Two (2): Tuesday- Thursday 9:00am-8:00pm; Friday 8:00am-5:45pm (Sat, Sun & Monday Off)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
