Mosquito Squad Plus of Buffalo is expanding our field team and hiring a full-time NYS Licensed Pest Control Applicator during a high-growth Grand Opening launch season.
With strong customer demand and continued expansion across Western New York, this is an opportunity to make an immediate impact, take ownership of your work, and grow into greater responsibility as our team continues to scale.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct detailed interior and exterior property inspections
- Identify pest activity, entry points, harborage areas, and contributing conditions
- Develop and complete property-specific treatment plans
- Perform yard, landscape, structural, perimeter, and interior pest-control treatments
- Clearly explain findings, completed services, and recommendations to customers
- Complete accurate, professional service notes and customer communications
- Independently manage assigned routes with consistent quality and reliability
Services may include mosquitoes, ticks, ants, spiders, wasps and yellow jackets, beetles, stink bugs, rodents, and other common home and yard pests.
What We’re Looking For
- Current NYS Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification in Category 7A and/or 3A
- Residential pest-control experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working independently indoors and outdoors
- Able to explain findings and recommendations clearly and professionally
- Interested in taking on greater responsibility as the company grows
A college degree is not required. We value practical experience, sound judgment, strong communication, follow-through, and pride in doing the job well.
Compensation and Benefits
- $25–$32 per hour based on experience, licensing, and qualifications
- Approximately 30–40 hours per week based on seasonal demand
