Summary
As a Driver Recruiter, you will play a vital role in attracting top talent to our organization. This position is essential for ensuring we maintain our high standards of service by building a strong team of dedicated professionals. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage job postings across various platforms to maximize visibility.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Utilize applicant tracking system (Ten street) to streamline the hiring process.
- Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
- Stay updated on employment labor laws and best practices in recruitment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Must have experience using Ten Street
- Must have 1+ years of CDL-A driver recruiting experience
- Strong understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate offers effectively while maintaining positive relationships with candidates.
- Familiarity with recruiting software such as Paychex, Salesforce, or Taleo is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate employee performance and fit within the company culture.
