GS Skyline Insulation, LLC is a growing commercial insulation contractor specializing in HVAC duct insulation, pipe insulation, fire wrap, and mechanical insulation services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our team and help manage projects from award through closeout.
Position Summary
The Project Manager / Project Coordinator will support the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial insulation projects. This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while working closely with customers, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare scopes of work and assist with project planning.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, and suppliers.
- Track project progress and maintain project documentation.
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documents.
- Monitor project budgets and job costs.
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials arrive on schedule.
- Support field teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Create and manage invoices and billing documentation.
- Maintain organized project files and reports.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project coordination or project management preferred.
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical, insulation, or commercial construction is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Construction Management degree or related field is a plus.
