Now Hiring: Part-Time Event Cleaning Staff

Position Overview
Resilient Group Solutions, LLC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our event cleaning team at the Thrasher-Horne Center in Orange Park.
This is an as-needed, event-based position—not an everyday or regularly scheduled job. Employees are not required to work every event. Work assignments will be offered based on the event schedule, staffing needs, and each employee’s availability.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work during evenings, weekends, and occasional daytime events.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare assigned areas before, during, and after events.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
- Clean and restock restrooms throughout events.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Monitor lobbies, hallways, seating areas, and other public spaces.
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs.
- Complete post-event cleaning to prepare the facility for its next use.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
- Follow company procedures and venue safety requirements.
- Work professionally around guests, performers, venue employees, and other event staff.
- Complete additional event-cleaning duties as assigned.
Scheduling
- This is an event-based position and does not provide guaranteed daily or weekly hours.
- Employees are not required to accept every event assignment.
- Assignments will be based on the employee’s availability and the company’s staffing needs.
- Events may be scheduled during the day, evening, late at night, or on weekends and holidays.
- Some events may require employees to remain on-site for an extended period.
Compensation
Employees will receive a flat rate for each event assignment. The flat rate will be based on the scheduled length and staffing requirements of the event. Specific pay rates and event categories will be explained during the interview.
Qualifications
- Previous event, commercial, or custodial cleaning experience is preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to complete assigned duties.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift and move cleaning supplies, trash, and equipment.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Thrasher-Horne Center.
- Must communicate availability and scheduling changes promptly.
