Job Summary

To work as a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Development. In this pivotal role, you provide organizational -wide leadership for brand strategy, communications, donor engagement and philanthropic growth. This role integrates marketing, sales and fundraising strategy to strengthen visibility, trust and financial support for the Eichelberger’s mission. The Director oversees donor systems, campaign strategy, and impact reporting while ensuring consistent, mission aligned messaging across all platforms. This is a director level leadership role focused on strategy, systems and outcomes rather than transactional or clerical execution.
Duties
- Develop and lead a comprehensive Organizational – Wide marketing, sales and communications strategy.
- Serve as the brand steward, ensuring alignment with the Eich mission.
- Oversee content strategy across digital, print, signage, media and internal communications.
- Expand the rentals of the Hoffman – Riggs Conservatory and ensure success for each event.
- Coordinate event planning for the Hoffman - Riggs Conservatory from conception through execution—managing logistics, budgeting, volunteer management, and post-event analysis—to ensure impactful experiences that advance organizational goals.
- Conduct research on industry trends, audience insights, and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning efforts.
- Lead Organizational -wide strategy, including annual campaigns, special initiatives, and donor engagement plans.
- Oversee donor management systems, records, segmentation and reporting.
- Track, campaign performance, donor trends and outcomes to inform strategy and Board.
- Partner with leadership to develop campaign messaging, goals and timelines.
- Ensure accurate donor acknowledgement, stewardship and impact communication.
- Plan and oversee fundraising and awareness campaigns from concept through evaluation
- Align marketing and donor communications to ensure consistent messaging and timelines.
- Analyze campaign results and recommend improvements based on outcomes.
- Set priories, workflows, and performance expectations aligned with the organizational mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure that staff work supports strategic outcomes rather than reactive requests.
- Provide regular updates to the Executive Director of marketing and communication with donors, including challenges and opportunities as soon as possible so that measures may be taken to alleviate or minimize any loss in revenue.
Experience
- Proven experience in nonprofit management or a related field with a strong background in marketing, sales, communications, or development leadership.
- Demonstrated success in event planning, proposal writing
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools; experience with social media management platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with partners and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in public relations strategies that enhance organizational reputation through media engagement and community outreach.
- Ability to develop strategic plans based on research data; experience in budgeting, project management, and volunteer coordination is preferred.
- Relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization and the Theatrical Community.
- Learn and understand local communities’ interests and needs, and what is going to bring them in the door.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Collaboration and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate funding needs and challenges

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
