Hotel Front Desk Personnel Needed at Days Inn, Mount Vernon, KY
Hotel experience is preferred but will train someone who has other similar experience
dealing with customers and general public.
Full Time or Part Time. Must be flexible to work nights and/or weekends.
You are responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming,
checking guests into and out of the hotel and serving guests in a courteous, efficient
and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. You will also resolve guest
challenges throughout their stay in the hotel. You will posts charges to guestrooms,
verify credit cards, balances bank at the end of the shift.
The qualified candidate we seek will serve as the main point of contact and will act in
a proactive manner regarding all guest requests and needs, and must be able to
properly follow up on any requests.
You must enjoy dealing with general public, be reliable (own transportation),
trustworthy, honest, self-motivated and be responsible to work independently.
Excellent communication, phone and hospitality skills are a must. The qualified
candidate must be able to multitask effectively. Good phone skills and face-to-face
conversation abilities, ten finger typing skills and general computer operating
knowledge is required. Accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of
time; present yourself in a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented
manner to every one you dealing with face to face or on the phone.
You must be able to pass drug test.
Compensation based on experience, skills and abilities.
