Burntshirt Vineyards now has a brand new restaurant called Vintner's Table. We are looking for an experienced Chef that is creative and passionate about food!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage all BOH staff including, hiring, firing, scheduling, progressive discipline, time off, and general operations of the restaurant.
- Uphold health code standard in the kitchen
- Manage food orders and inventory
- Manage food cost and labor cost
- Manage menu planning, changes, and specials within the restaurant.
- This is a "working manager" position and will require participation in position in order to be successful
- Be present and helpful in the kitchen during peak business hours.
- Excellent communication skills both on and off shift in order for smooth day to day operations.
- Manage monthly financials through accounting department.
- Implement and manage catering for on-site events.
- Training of new employees and upholding a positive work environment
- Competitive pay based on experience
- 10+ years of Culinary leadership is highly recommended
- Catering experience is a plus
- ServSafe certification is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
