WEEKLY PAY --- LONG TERM PROJECT --- OVERTIME
- PAY: $36/hour (based upon experience)
- HOURS: Shifts will be 8-10-hour workdays, 6 days per week (50+ hours/week)
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Saturday; 6:00am – 4:30pm
- START DATE: ASAP
- DURATION: 6+ months
Summary:
We are currently hiring experienced Commercial Drywall Finishers to join our team on a commercial construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience finishing drywall to a high-quality standard while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, joints, and corners.
- Apply multiple coats of joint compound and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
- Repair damaged drywall and prepare surfaces for paint or texture.
- Match existing textures and apply various finishing techniques as required.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Work closely with other trades to meet project schedules.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial drywall finishing experience.
- Current OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (Required).
- Experience with taping, mudding, sanding, skim coating, and texture application.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and use common drywall finishing tools.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Pay: $36.00 per hour
