Job description:
STIHL Southeast, distributor of STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment, has an opening for a Technical Assistant to join the Technical Services team in Orlando, Florida. This role provides phone and digital support for STIHL dealer and end customer assistance relating to product troubleshooting and repair guidance, warranty determination support, customer satisfaction, and product training. Occasional territory travel is possible, company vehicle provided for these events.
Qualified candidates should have/be:
- High school diploma or GED.
- STIHL sales and/or service experience, or other outdoor power equipment experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service motivated.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as general computer competency.
- Clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high level technical support to dealers and end users primarily by phone, but also via email.
- Receive and analyze warranty parts and products.
- Support face-to-face service training team in administration, planning, and possibly delivering service training content.
- Occasional repair of STIHL power equipment.
- Other duties as required.
