Duties
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and managing cash handling procedures with precision
- Assist customers with food service orders, ensuring quick turnaround times and upselling opportunities to enhance sales
- Prepare and pack food items following safety standards, maintaining a clean workspace throughout your shift
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and packaging tasks in compliance with food safety management protocols
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to ensure a hygienic environment
- Manage food handling processes with attention to quality control, freshness, and proper storage practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants, retail sales, or food industry roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus but not required
