American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience and required certifications for a dynamic acute care setting.

Work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab with 6 suites handling 25-30 cases per day
-
Procedures include left and right heart caths, complex PCI, Impella and IABP, electrophysiology, structural heart (TAVR, Watchman), and interventional radiology/peripheral vascular cases
-
Advanced technology and equipment including EPIC EMR, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE IMAGING, CARTO, and ABBOTT EP
-
Shift options include 3x12-hour days (0630-1900) or 4x10-hour days (0630-1700); schedule finalized during manager interview
-
Call requirement is average 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time; on-call only for holidays

No floating required except for emergency response

Dedicated team with 14 technologists and 7 RNs, with 24/7 physician, RT, and pharmacy support

Uses hospital-issued surgical attire as standard scrub uniform

Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience

Active ARRT or RCIS certification required

Current WA DOH CVIS or RT license required; license required if applicable

Active BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory

Experience with EPIC EMR and the listed lab-specific equipment preferred

Radiation badge required prior to start; must be supplied by the technologist

Driver’s license copy required for consideration

Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years

Main duties include assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-volume, multimodality lab

Quick unit orientation provided for competent technologists

Team-oriented and welcoming environment in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art facility

On-call team coverage for holidays

Critical care patients supported by staff during procedures only

Hospital-issued surgical attire provided for all staff

Returning staff must not have been directly employed at affiliated facilities within the past year
