Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical projects.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate and control industrial processes effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including renovation projects and construction site installations.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; perform repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry and handyman tasks related to electrical installations or upgrades.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Certified or Licensed Electrician with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
- Demonstrated experience working on construction sites, renovations, or large-scale projects involving electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices essential for electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control wiring in industrial settings.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Hands-on experience in renovation projects involving framing carpentry or general handyman tasks related to electrical work.
