Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics (invisalign), oral surgery, and dental implants.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
- Use advanced dental software such as Delta Dental for documentation of medical records and treatment plans.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and other diagnostic tools to assist in accurate diagnosis.
- Communicate effectively with patients to educate them on oral health practices and post-treatment care, fostering trust and compliance.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to protect patient confidentiality and ensure legal compliance.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment practicing four-handed dentistry for efficiency and comfort.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in general dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (invisalign), oral surgery, and implant placement is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements related to medical records management.
- Skilled in client communication with a compassionate approach that prioritizes patient care and comfort.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently using aseptic techniques while maintaining high standards of infection control.
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment that emphasizes teamwork and excellent patient service.
