ACDS, Inc. is dedicated to providing lifetime resources and services of exceptional quality for children and adults with Down syndrome, Autism and other developmental disabilities. ACDS is in need of a full-time Residential House Manager for one of our Adult Services Group Homes in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Candidates who apply must have a valid NY State driver's license and maintain a clean/safe driving record. Experience working with the Special Needs population is required.
$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR ALL NEW HIRES! $500 awarded upon successful completion of the 90-day introductory period in good standing. An additional $500 awarded after 6 months of employment.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a residential home for 7 individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Provide direct supervision to direct care staff to ensure the delivery of quality services while promoting the independence, health and safety of the consumers served.
- Ensure accurate documentation and service billing is complete and submitted in a timely fashion.
- Comply with Medicaid, OPWDD and ACDS policies, rules and regulations.
- Be an advocate for the people we support.
- Be a liaison with families of the residents.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid and clean NY State Driver's License.
- AMAP, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certifications required or Aptitude to obtain upon hire.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Special Needs or Intellectual Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) populations with at least 2 years in a residential setting.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Able to work 40 hours per week / Some Flexibility.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
