Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
- Oversee food production processes, including portion control, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food handling, safety procedures, and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the menu planning team to develop innovative dishes that meet guest expectations and dietary requirements.
- Lead catering and banquet food preparation efforts for large events, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the kitchens with a strong background in food production and culinary techniques.
- Have strong experience in cooking Asian food.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive banquet experience, including large-scale event catering and special functions.
- Knowledge of dietary department standards, food safety protocols, and inventory management systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, menu planning, and kitchen management.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.
