Transcorp is actively seeking a Load Planner/Dispatcher who exhibits patience, intelligence, and a track record of academic excellence. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate regular communication with customers, drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless transportation coordination.
- Meticulously track shipments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Implement and monitor dispatch procedures, demonstrating an ability to adapt and solve problems creatively.
- Proactively address issues affecting pickup or delivery schedules with patience and resilience.
- Maximize driver schedules in compliance with hours-of-service regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and liaise with operational unit managers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to DOT, FMCSA, and State and Federal Transportation regulations.
- Provide support to drivers, including route planning and operational troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high call volume environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to manage complex scheduling tasks.
- Positive attitude and resilience, even in challenging circumstances.
- Proficient in map reading and route planning.
- Prior dispatch experience is preferred but not essential.
- A flexible schedule is a must.
- Bilingualism is a plus.
