POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Assessor is responsible for providing assessment services to individuals and families through DFCS. This includes client communication, scheduling, and rendering clinical services utilizing agency processes and resources.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's/Doctoral degree in either counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family
therapy, or similar field
Licensed Counselor or Social Worker with one of the following licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMSW,
Associate Licensed or license eligible with minimum of 5-year post-graduate experience
Previous experience providing clinical assessment & therapy services for Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is a plus
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Build relationship and collaborate with case managers, contractors, and community partners to ensure effective treatment and case collaboration
Complete all assessments to include (Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Parental Fitness, Trauma, Comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, Bonding and Attachment). Please note trainings may be required to complete certain assessments
Must be willing to commute and see clients in their home and community, as well as in-office
Document case notes in the online electronic health record system (eCase Notes)
Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with other agency staff
Uphold current and developing agency processes to ensure a standard of care is met
Maintain all applicable certifications and licensure including CPR certification
Attend agency meetings and trainings pertinent to the role
Embrace the vision and mission of the agency
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of electronic health record and practice management systems. eCase Notes experience a plus

Ability to pass all vital background checks/screenings
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Services conducted within the home, community, and office setting
PT or FT contract work available
Fee for service, paid upon service completion
Interaction with a diverse population including team members, providers, clients, etc.
