The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, organization, and quality of materials within QES. This role manages a team of cycle counters and non-conforming material handlers while ensuring proper inventory processes are followed. The Inventory Control Manager plays a key role in maintaining production readiness, managing training, and enforcing high standards for inventory accuracy and material quality.

Develop, manage, and monitor the daily cycle count program and all inventory transactions

Oversee processes for cycle counting, nonconforming products, and associated training logs

Ensure inventory accuracy by managing transactions, correcting errors, and retraining staff as needed

Collaborate with the receiving team to document damaged products and coordinate with purchasing for proper disposition
-
Manage the return of materials to inventory, ensuring compliance with inventory return requirements
-
Document and segregate nonconforming materials while coordinating disposition with purchasing
-
Manage expired inventory and ensure proper disposal
-
Conduct quarterly employee performance reviews

Oversee timecard punches for accurate workforce tracking

Analyze daily operations and provide support to other members of the management team

Promote a safe work environment and report any safety or OSHA violations

Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for cycle counts

Perform other related tasks as required

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred

Minimum of 2 years of management experience

Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and distribution processes

Experience with developing, documenting, and enforcing inventory processes and procedures
