The Blossom Market is looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Content & Marketing Creator to help promote our upcoming market events, create engaging social media content, and build excitement within the Houston community.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys social media, local events, small businesses, vendor markets, and creating fun, aesthetic content that makes people want to attend.
Responsibilities
The Content & Marketing Coordinator will help with:
- Creating and posting Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content for The Blossom Market
- Filming and editing short-form videos/reels
- Creating vendor spotlights and promotional posts
- Posting stories before, during, and after the event
- Helping promote the event in local Facebook groups and community pages
- Reaching out to vendors for photos, logos, and business information
- Creating captions, countdowns, reminders, and event updates
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content during setup and event day
- Filming vendors, activities, attendees, decor, and special moments during the market
- Helping build excitement around VIP totes, free activities, vendors, and event details
- Assisting with basic marketing tasks such as flyers, event listings, and community promotion
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Creative and comfortable creating content
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and reels
- Good at taking videos/photos on a phone
- Organized and able to meet posting deadlines
- Friendly and comfortable communicating with vendors
- Excited about markets, small businesses, and community events
- Able to match The Blossom Market’s cute, feminine, floral, and community-focused brand
- Available to attend the event in person for day-of content
Preferred Experience
Experience is preferred but not required. This would be a great fit for someone with experience in:
- Social media management
- Content creation
- Event marketing
- Influencer/brand ambassador work
- Photography or videography
- Canva, CapCut, Instagram Reels, or TikTok editing
Schedule
This is a part-time/event-based role. Most work can be done remotely before the event, but the coordinator must be available in person on event day to capture content.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, scope of work, and availability.
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
