Job Summary
Compliance Alliance is a small consulting firm that manages OSHA and Infection Prevention programs for medical and dental facilities throughout the southwestern United States. The Safety & Infection Prevention Specialist within our organization must be extremely detail-oriented, professional, and reliable. A successful Safety & Infection Prevention Specialist will be able to develop positive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and fellow team members. Experience within Occupational Safety & Health or Infection Prevention will serve you well.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts Comprehensive Site Surveys and Infection Control Evaluations of client facilities; identifies both hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions; prioritizes hazards; develops plans of correction
- Develops functional solutions to complex compliance issues within client facilities
- Works with clients on design and implementation of clinical space
- Evaluates products within the marketplace for the appropriateness in client offices to mitigate and/or eliminate workplace hazards
- Conducts live and web based Annual Training Programs according to established outlines/curriculum
- Completes Quarterly Safety Reviews for client offices. Completes electronic report of evaluation
- Develops written programs, lecture outlines, new tools and corresponding documentation systems
- Attends and actively participates in standing operational and committee meetings
- Assists clients with mitigating and/or eliminating hazards to obtain compliance
- Develops monthly and/or quarterly newsletter content
- Assists clients with various requests and provides regulatory guidance
- Researches and creates of new forms/policies for implementation when regulations or guidelines change
- Completes client appointments as scheduled
- Communicates effectively with clients and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- BS Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Certified Infection Preventionist, Nursing, or related healthcare field
- Clinical work experience will be considered in lieu of relevant degree (2+ years)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Reliable personal transportation, automobile insurance, and valid Driver’s License required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
