Summary of the Role
Office Furniture Center is the Midwest’s largest source for premium pre-owned & refurbished office furniture. Our sustainable business focuses on diverting office furniture from the landfill by giving like-minded individuals an opportunity to purchase repurposed furniture assets. For the past 20 years, we have performed thousands of furniture installations nationwide.
The Inventory Assistant is an entry-level position that provides support to our product & inventory teams in a variety of different ways to help facilitate the sale of our assets.
Key Role Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Product Catalog Responsibilities
- Take photos of inventory products and add to online website.
- Ensure inventory products are added online to correct website & in correct categories.
Merchandising Responsibilities
- Tagging all showroom product
- Moving Chairs & Setting Up Vignettes
- Building or Setting Up Furniture
- General Showroom Cleanliness
Inventory Responsibilities
- Cycle Counting Inventory Assets & Commercial Storage Assets
- Tagging Products in Warehouse
- Printing Tags for Inbound Projects
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish – ability to read and write in both languages (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong computer skills
- 1-2 years of retail, marketing, sales experience (preferred)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
