Job Summary
Muscle Movers LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Mover / Crew Leader to oversee residential and commercial moving jobs while ensuring exceptional customer service and care of client belongings. The Lead Mover is responsible for supervising crew members, safely loading and unloading furniture and household goods, and maintaining efficiency and professionalism on every job site.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise moving crews on local and long-distance jobs
- Safely pack, wrap, load, and unload furniture and household goods
- Ensure protection of customer property, floors, walls, and items
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Direct crew workflow for efficiency and safety
- Operate 20–26 ft box trucks (non-CDL)
- Complete job paperwork and payment collection when required
- Train and mentor new movers
- Maintain company equipment, trucks, and supplies
- Uphold company standards for care, appearance, and conduct
Qualifications
- Prior moving industry experience required (2+ years preferred)
- Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs repeatedly
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Professional attitude with customers and team
- Ability to work long or flexible hours as needed
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
