Under general supervision, provides technical support, training, and direction to Superior Court personnel utilizing computer equipment and applications; installs, tests, and resolves problems with computer hardware and software; and performs related duties as required. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Evaluates user requests to resolve problems and to identify and obtain appropriate resources for resolution of more complex problems: corrects routine problems by making minor repairs to computer equipment and/or entering commands or data into systems; determines and contacts appropriate resources for additional assistance.
- Instructs computer system users in the safe and proper use of computer equipment and of computer applications; answers questions and assists in resolving problems related to the methods and procedures for utilizing computer applications.
- Installs, tests, and monitors the operation of computer hardware and software; configures hardware and software.
- Assists in creating databases and spreadsheets and designing and generating related reports.
- Assists in the configuration and security of personal computers.
- Maintains various records documentation, and inventories for department computer systems.
