Position Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating all day-to-day field operations. This role ensures that projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in exterior construction, and capable of managing multiple jobsites simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, and exterior repairs.
- Coordinate schedules, labor resources, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines.
- Conduct daily site visits to ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance, and efficient progress.
- Serve as the primary field liaison between crews, suppliers, customers, and the Senior Production Manager.
- Troubleshoot project issues proactively to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including project updates, changes, inspections, and milestone tracking.
- Haul company trailers daily as needed for material transport, equipment staging, and crew support.
- Uphold company standards of professionalism, customer service, and jobsite cleanliness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial exterior construction (roofing and siding strongly preferred). Willing to train the right candidate.
- Proven track record in production, field supervision, or project coordination roles.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to haul trailers daily.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management tools, mobile apps, and basic technology.
- Knowledge of building codes, installation standards, and safety practices.
- Must be able to lift and carry 60+ lbs.
- Must be comfortable with heights upwards of 2 stories.
