Responsibilities
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks including brake inspections, filter replacements, and light repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly dispose of used parts and fluids in accordance with safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Skills
- Dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance
- Mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to tire service, oil changes, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs
- Service technician experience that demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to repairs
