Overview:
The Night Auditor is crucial for the hotel’s smooth operation during the overnight shift, from 11 PM to 7 AM. Duties:
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions for accuracy in reporting.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to guests.
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently for prompt responses to calls.
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless guest services and satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:
- Represent Holiday Inn Express to the customer in a manner that promotes customer loyalty and provides exceptional service.
- Access all functions of a computer system following established procedures and standards.
- Answer the telephone with appropriate greetings and good manners.
- Foster positive guest relations in person and through phone calls.
- Maintain basic knowledge of room rates, types, locations, promotions, and walk-ins.
- Process guest check-ins efficiently using established procedures and verify registration cards for accurate information.
- Maintain open and concise communication with the front office supervisor/manager regarding all guests.
- Understand reservation codes, field inputs, and special trace information.
Abilities and Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a preference for working with people in a service environment.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Experience with computer data entry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
