Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking for a rewarding part-time position? We are seeking a caring Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with developmental disabilities in the community. Other DSP job opportunities within to create more weekly hours.
Schedule:
- Mondays or Wednesdays: 3:15 PM – 6:15 PM (flexible)
- Saturday or Sunday: Flexible hours (to be arranged with the individual and family)
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and positive support.
- Assist with community outings and recreational activities.
- Encourage independence and social engagement.
- Ensure the individual’s safety and well-being.
- Follow the individual’s support plan while creating a fun, engaging experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Must pass required background checks and complete NJ DDD-required training.
- Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
