Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Clinical Assistant to join our new ophthalmology practice in Round Rock. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn.
The Clinical Assistant will support the physician with patient care, clinic flow, and day-to-day operations. Prior ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required. We are committed to training the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination, including obtaining history and basic testing
- Assist with patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Prepare and maintain exam and procedure rooms
- Assist the physician during examinations and treatments
- Support documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Perform basic clinical tasks (training provided)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
- Provide a friendly and professional experience for patients
- Assist with retinal imaging and other diagnostic testing (training provided)
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior medical or clinical experience preferred but not required
- Ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
