Trademark Associate
Job Description
Intellectual Property law firm headquartered in NYC seeks highly motivated associate with at least 2 yrs. experience in domestic/international trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement and/or transactional matters. Experience in US conflict work (TTAB, Federal Courts or UDRP) helpful.
Requirements
Experience in rendering trademark clearance opinions, addressing US and international trademark prosecution and enforcement issues. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work independently. Strong legal research and writing skills. Admission to the Bar (NY preferred).
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate comfortably at all levels with business clients in multiple countries. A record of providing legal services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Foreign language skills preferred. Fluency in Chinese, Spanish or French a plus.
Base salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 with additional opportunity for bonuses, dependent on relevant experience required for position and prior billing history.
At this time, the position will be hybrid. Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S and commute to the NYC office in Midtown. We are not able to provide sponsorship at this time.
