Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to deliver materials and equipment efficiently. Your expertise in heavy lifting, load and unload procedures, and adherence to safety standards will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation while showcasing your driving skills and mechanical knowledge.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement for safe transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge of truck systems and load securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating various truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
- Skilled in manual transmission operation with the ability to handle heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; familiarity with heavy-duty vehicle handling is essential.
- Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
