As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Utilize the Aloha POS system to manage tables and track guest preferences.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure excellent guest relations and service quality.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
