Line Cook (Part-Time)
Location: 2–8 South Street, Middletown, NY
We are excited to bring new job opportunities to Middletown, NY. Our facility, located at 2–8 South Street, will be open seven days a week and will offer a variety of shifts across our kitchen, taproom, and retail spaces.
We are seeking team members with positive attitudes, integrity, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Position Overview
Our kitchen is located within our taproom in an open-concept setting, meaning cooking staff are visible to guests. Line Cooks should be comfortable occasionally interacting with customers while preparing food and maintaining high quality standards. We also expect Line Cooks to provide the same level of respect and service to coworkers as they do to guests.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Cook menu items in coordination with the kitchen team
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Clean and maintain stations, including proper handling of leftover food
- Monitor and restock inventory as needed
- Ensure dishes are prepared and served on time, at a high level of quality, and in coordination with the rest of the kitchen
- Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
- Stay up to date on craft beer knowledge
- Perform all duties in accordance with Equilibrium procedures
- Support brewing staff by preparing special ingredients for adjunct beers
- Assist with private events and special releases as needed
- Collaborate with guest chefs and visiting brewers during special events
- Take on additional duties as assigned
Compensation
Hourly pay, based on experience.
