TX is currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and highly adaptable Marine / Powersports Technician to join our growing team. If you have a solid mechanical foundation and a passion for the marine and powersports industry, we want to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities:
*Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of marine and powersports mechanical, and 12V electronic systems.
*Perform comprehensive rigging and of marine accessories, including trolling motors, fish finders, GPS navigation systems, and more.
*Conduct thorough inspections and routine preventive maintenance on boats, trailers, and powersports units to ensure optimal performance.
*Install and service pumps, steering systems, fuel systems, and other critical components.
*Maintain clear, professional communication with management and team members.
*Strictly follow all shop safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
*Experience: Previous experience in marine repair, general mechanical repair (automotive or powersports), RV maintenance, or automotive electrical. (Required)
*Technical Skills: Ability to confidently read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical service manuals. (Preferred)
*Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with major marine electronics and accessory brands (e.g., Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird, Power-Pole, Minn Kota, or similar). (Preferred)
*Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and maneuver 50+ pounds. (Required)
*Equipment: Must possess a basic personal set of tools, including wrenches, sockets, and standard diagnostic equipment. (Required)
*Requirements: A valid driver’s license and highly reliable transportation. (Required)
