As a Fire Protection Shop Manager at AMS, you're the backbone of our shop operations. Out of our Woodridge, IL facility, reporting to the AVP of Fire Protection, you'll manage day-to-day shop operations for the Fire Protection Group, keeping materials, equipment, and logistics running smoothly from the shop floor to the job site.
You'll oversee inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relations while coordinating shop loading, jobsite preparation, and truck deliveries. The role spans everything from receiving and organizing shipments and issuing purchase orders to assisting project managers, service fitters, and the shop superintendent to keep every project on schedule.
