Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Crew Leader, Landscape to spearhead outdoor projects and lead our dedicated landscaping team. In this role, you will oversee landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscape installation projects, ensuring high-quality results that enhance outdoor spaces. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate construction activities, and uphold safety standards across various construction projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians, ensuring efficient execution of lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks
- Coordinate landscape projects including irrigation management, hardscape installation, and tree care with precision and attention to detail
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and ground preparation tools
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed
- Manage the operation of company vehicles for project transportation and equipment hauling while adhering to safety protocols
- Oversee irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency across client properties
- Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety regulations and company standards while maintaining a clean and organized work site
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
- Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor settings or landscaping teams
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hardscape construction including patios, walkways, retaining walls, or similar structures
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment operation such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
- Background in tree care or arboriculture is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in outdoor environments
