The Family Support Division (FSD), Child Support Office is seeking candidates to fill a Benefit Program Technician position. This position will be located in the St. Charles County Child Support Office based at 3737 Truman Blvd., St. Charles, MO.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
As a Benefit Program Technician, you will serve Missouri citizens by assessing their child support needs during phone calls, in-person office visits and online inquiries. You may assist and guide them through services such as verifying paternity, establishing child support orders and enforcing and/or modifying both administrative and judicial orders.
We offer a six-month in-depth training program for all new employees with additional training as needed. This position has a consistent and structured work schedule while still allowing work/home life balance. This is a rewarding position with the opportunity to positively impact the lives of Missouri citizens and their families.
Qualifications - All you need for success
To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma and at least four years of customer services experience OR a bachelor’s degree.
To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate, non-judgmental and supportive. The ideal candidate would possess excellent customer service skills, experience working with several different computer programs simultaneously, proficient typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
