Description of the role:
The EVV Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting caregivers in the use of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems. Electronic Visit Verification is a system used in home care and healthcare services to electronically verify that a caregiver has provided scheduled services to a client. This role provides training and ongoing assistance for mobile app-based and call-in EVV platforms, monitors system use for compliance, and maintains accurate records of all caregiver interactions.
Primary responsibilities:
- Train and support caregivers on using EVV systems, including mobile app and call-in options.
- Follow up with caregivers to ensure proper use and provide additional guidance as needed.
- Document all caregiver interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
- Educate caregivers on federal, state, Medicaid, and company EVV policies.
- Assist caregivers with phone setup and basic navigation of EVV systems.
- Manage inbound support calls in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide basic technical support for mobile devices, apps, and EVV system issues.
- Identify recurring issues and escalate to internal teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve EVV processes and caregiver support.
- Assist in developing training materials to enhance caregiver education and reduce common issues.
- Other relevant duties assigned by management, as needed.
To be successful in this role:
- Communicate clearly and patiently: Explain EVV processes and troubleshooting steps in simple terms for caregivers.
- Stay organized and detail-oriented: Document all interactions accurately and follow up consistently.
- Proactively identify issues: Spot recurring problems and escalate or address them before they affect compliance.
- Collaborate effectively: Work closely with internal teams to improve EVV processes and caregiver support.
- Adapt to technology changes: Remain flexible and quickly learn updates or changes in EVV systems and devices.
Preferred qualifications that will help you in this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service, technical support, or care coordination preferred.
- Minimal experience in the home care industry preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
