The Training Specialist supports Cavender Auto Family's mission by delivering engaging learning experiences that develop leaders, strengthen workplace relationships, and improve employee performance. This role is responsible for facilitating instructor-led and virtual training, co-facilitating the Leadership Development Program, supporting learning management system (LMS) administration, and assisting with the design and evaluation of learning solutions that align with business objectives and our culture.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Facilitate engaging instructor-led learning experiences for employees and leaders across multiple dealership locations using adult learning best practices.
- Create an inclusive, energetic learning environment that encourages discussion, practice, collaboration, and application.
- Adapt facilitation techniques to meet the needs of diverse learner groups.
- Coach and support participants throughout leadership development programs.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement that promotes learner growth and accountability.
- Build positive relationships with participants, managers, and dealership leadership.
- Coordinate training schedules, materials, participant communications, and classroom setup.
- Prepare facilitator guides, participant materials, and training resources.
- Maintain accurate attendance and completion records within the LMS.
- Assist the Training and Development Manager with LMS administration, including:
- Assigning compliance training modules.
- Troubleshooting learner access issues.
- Generating and analyzing completion reports.
- Monitoring training compliance.
- Maintaining course catalogs and learner records.
- Collect and analyze participant feedback, assessments, and business metrics to evaluate training effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements based on learner feedback and organizational needs.
- Support the Training and Development Manager in designing, developing, and updating instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning content using established instructional design methodologies.

- Reinforce company culture through every learning experience.
- Travel to dealership locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma (up to 25%) is required.
Here is what you will need:
- 1-3 years of experience training and developing adult learners, especially in people (soft) skills and leadership skills.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Strong facilitation and classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Adaptability and resilience to navigate changing business needs.
- Customer service mindset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while facilitating training.
- Ability to lift training materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (Storyline 360 and Rise 360) and Vyond is a plus.
