JOB The individual instructor is the key figure in the educational pattern of the college, and his/her attitude, personality, skill,
character, and initiative will determine how well the college fulfills its objectives. He/she plays a prominent role in
curriculum development through continual evaluation.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 1. Develops curricula based on industry demand;
2. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the subject;
3. Communicates with students the goals, objectives, and expectations of the course;
4. Embeds national credentials into their respective program;
5. Keeps accurate records of attendance and grades and submits all reports and other information promptly and accurately;
6. Maintains discipline in the classroom;
7. Contextualizes modern manufacturing core skills in curriculum;
8. Participates actively in professional development opportunities in the discipline;
9. Maintains required office and class hours;
10. Serves as recruiter for his/her respective program;
11. Effectively communicates with, cooperates with and supports other college personnel in daily activities;
12. Supports the College mission implicitly and explicitly in the daily execution of all duties and responsibilities;
13. Actively participates in maintaining an effective and continuous recruiting program;
14. Participates in Institutional Effectiveness activities;
15. Represents the College in a professional manner as evidenced by dress, demeanor and the discharge of daily responsibilities;
16. Fulfills other duties as assigned by the President and/or supervisor.
