Job Title: Resident Escort/Nursing Clerical
Job Summary:
Ocean Gardens Care Center, a premier healthcare facility in Queens, New York, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Escort/Nursing Clerical to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care and supporting our clinical teams in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Escort residents to and from various appointments, tests, and treatments
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Assist with vital signs and other basic care tasks as needed
Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and answering phones
Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate records and reports
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
Requirements:
1 years of experience preferred, but training will be provided
CNA License
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and safety
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (minimum 25 lbs)
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the facility
Availability to work varied shifts
